I haven't posted any kind of art in forever, but if I do...it'll be here.

But! All the cosplay stuff you guys have been seeing here will be posted on my new cosplay account, FrancescaPeach, especially now that cosplay has kind of taken a priority in my hobbies! I'm not abandoning this account, but rather just starting something of a cosplay portfolio on my new account. (It will also be nice to weed out who I follow on my new account so I'm not getting stuff I was interested in two years ago!)

I hope that you will all follow me at my new account ^_^

N.A.P.P.A.con

4 min read
So, me, dhespys, and Kalaziel were at N.A.P.P.A.con over the weekend. It was fun, albeit we had to mostly make our own fun...

(But with dhespys drinking something highly caffienated at least once a day, we were already half way there...)

On Friday I did my visual kei costume and Caeleighn and Alexis were Minun and Plusle, which was actually hilariously cute (especially if you saw them from behind.) We wasted most of the day sitting in the lobby playing Uno, but Uno has this magical quality that never lets you have to play it alone if there are people around you, so it went from me, Alexis, and Caeleighn, to us plus four other people (and not more, only because the space we were sitting in was getting kind of small.)

Half way through the day I changed into my Ryoga costume (and I had to actually shower in the middle of the day just to get the spikes out of my hair TT^TT) So then I Ryoga-ified my hair while Alexis, Caeleighn, and I discussed plans for future cosplays, which took an unexpected Sailor Moon-themed turn?

(It's a pretty long story.)

So then after a while of walking around, we went to Target, still in cosplay, and mostly got weird looks, except for one girl who caught us all at check out and was like, "You guys...are awesome!"

At the end of the day, we drew OS Otaku's logo on plain white t-shirts and went downstairs telling people that if they signed our shirts, they would get a hug. Me and Alexis did the same at Persacon this year, and it was funny to see the comparison of people at Persacon; they were scraping for room on the back to avoid being awkward but the people here were like, "I'LL SIGN WHEREVER I WANT!" So we actually ended up with phone numbers, too...

Saturday, I did my Soul cosplay, which, this time, and this costume are the first time I have been truly happy with any costume! Red contacts, lots of makeup, and sharp teeth :) (I'll be putting up pictures of all of mine, Alexis, and Caeleighn's cosplay later when I get them.) I had untied my tie for my VK costume and couldn't figure out how to get it back to how it was supposed to be, so I went and found an L cosplayer downstairs who did it for me, LOL. Caeleighn was my Maka and Alexis did Lukario from Pokemon.

We ended up at the library in Huntsville for the first half of the morning, which is a long, boring story that I don't feel like telling, other than, that, I think I may have scared a few children accidentally! I was in the manga section, so were they, and ironically, so was a Soul Eater poster, so I'm kind of surprised that they were surprised or scared at all... XD

When we got back to the hotel we just walked around and sort of did nothing, but ended up playing Uno for a while and ended up playing with another cosplayer, a Shizuo, and an Izaya.

(A lot of people took pictures of me, so if you have one, let me know! >.<)

At the end of Saturday, we went to the rave, which was pretty fun, but we left after a little over an hour or something. Overall, we had a lot of fun! :) There will probably be a video of pictures and such at youtube.com/user/TenTigerLilie… soon, so... :)

MOBICON XV

6 min read
is where I just got back from yesterday. (Fangirling still in process.)

I think that the only reason I am glad that I'm home is so I can eat real food xD I am sick of junk food!! (Did anyone ever think a teenager would say that?)

But on a better note, IT WAS AWESOME.

The first hour+ when we got there was spent setting up cmusto's artist table, which consisted of shelf-building, sign-drawing, and (Disney) music-listening.

It was Disney music until FF7ninjachan turned on Sexy and I Know It. After we got the table all set up, everyone changed into their costumes. Soul, Maka Albarn, Haruhi Fujioka, and the others didn't cosplay on Friday. (I am Soul! :D)

Then we went to a Hetalia panel, which was probably one of the funniest panels I've ever been to. Prussia, Italy, America, Russia, and England talking about their country's history and making fun of eachother. (And then Prussia took off his pants? XD)

That was basically the only panel I went to on Friday, except OS Otaku's panel, which was teaching and playing Dai Hin Min. Sure, it was fun the first few times. Now? I don't even want to hear "Dai Hin Min" again...

Saturday, I got (woken) up pretty early to put on my Ryoga costume, which turned out a lot better than I thought it would and it made me very happy that people passing me were like "Hey Ryoga, what's up?" and some people even wanted pictures of me. :iconwoohooplz:

(Though the costume started off with me teasing my hair and trying to eat a poptart at the same time, spraying half my face black when I did my hair and the leftovers still making my nails look like I just cleaned a chimney.)

Saturday consisted of another Hetalia panel (same people, same amount of LOL's) and a costume contest, which I only entered for the hell of it XD I already said I was Ryoga, and the rest of OS Otaku consisted of Gamzee and John from Homestuck (FF7ninjachan and cmusto), Ed from FMA (Kalaziel), and Katara from Avatar (DCFanGirl). We had a panel which was a discussion of FMA, and I think it turned out OK, considering that I thought we would crash and burn. But I do not want to do it again XD

Speaking of crashing and burning, my visual kei outfit on Sunday! The outfit was fine and my six-inch heeled knee-high boots were not so bad at first. But for some reason, they made my legs hurt (not my feet XD) and I was sitting against a wall, and when I went to get up, completely fell over. And then it happened a second time and I almost twisted my ankle. And then it happened a fourth time, where I managed to cut myself on a sword -- when it was in it's sheath.

Fantastic, I know.

I bought a lot of art supplies while I was there, but sadly inspiration does not come with new inking pens and markers. So, sorry I have not been drawing (anything good) lately, but I've been busy with other stuff; it's not just my lack of ideas that are plaguing me.

The newest fandom I am fangirling over is RusAme, which is funny, because I don't really like Russia. But hey, the con made me want to read it. Can anyone link me to any good ones? After scanning over the stuff on ff.net, I couldn't really find anything. So links would be much appreciated! :3

Now, I am already waiting for the next con... TT^TT

I know some of you know that awkward moment when you see someone and think, "he/she's cute" and then you find out they were not the gender you initially assumed...why does that happen to me so much lately? -.-" Something good that came out of this Hetalia craze at the con though was that I had to write a paper on the Cold War and it's affect on Spain (what, right?) I actually had fun doing it. Wahoooo.

On some un-con related notes, lately I am bored with everything and I don't know why. It's kind of strange, because it feels like all I do is sleep. And unrelated to even that, I'm sick of all the music on iTunes. Whyyyy... TT^TT Also, yesterday my mom came in my room when I screamed because I thought I saw a spider.

Turns out it was an eyelash...

So yeah, though the last time I drew something OK was about March and my featured deviation is almost a year old, I am still alive! I just have to get off my lazy ass and find something to draw. I would take requests, but for some reason that always turns out that I, being my stubborn-bitchy-on-occasion-and-like-to-do-things-my-way self, I usually do not like to draw what I get requests for or they just don't really help me. So, you know. I HOPE FOR ART SOON.

Current obsessions:

Of all people...me? Really?

But this isn't a warning to watch out for them crazy fools here, at least. I don't think it was anyone in dA, actually.

Anyhow, I got an interesting email this morning -- from a Florida school district. Initially, I was worried that it might be spam, but I opened it anyhow.

There was a middle school in the district holding a poetry contest, and the coordinator of the contest (a teacher) was checking out all the submissions to make sure that they were in fact, originals. However, it turns out that someone like "Shadow"  ( fav.me/d4f4sdw ) so much that they entered it in the contest as their own poem.

The teacher had apparently found where I had posted it, and that the original poster was, in fact, me, and asked if it was simply a mix-up. It was implied that they have a pretty strict policy against plagiarism at the school, so...wowzers. I wouldn't think she's feeling too hot now.

EDIT: I think, that for the sake of irony, the teacher took the time to respond to the email where I clarified that it was my poem, and said that, unfortunately, my poem was one of the top 10 in the contest before it was pulled for being, y'know...mine. So there's that, at least.

Zombie Apocalypse Soundtrack

Stolen from :iconroki-ziro:

Song 1: Overall theme of the Apocalypse.
Screamin' - Tokio Hotel
(Stockholm much?)

Song 2: The song that plays during your first zombie kill.
So Far Away - Avenged Sevenfold
(Did I kill or get killed? XD)

Song 3: The song that plays when you're being chased by a horde of zombies.
Defy You - The Offspring
(THAT'S RIGHT BITCHESSS!)

Song 4: The song that plays when you're forced to kill your loved one.
Pain - Jimmy Eat World
(I love the irony in this..."it takes my pain away"...)

Song 5: The song that plays when you find your new love interest.
Belle - Beauty and The Beast
(Shit just got real.)

Song 6: The song that plays when you make your final stand.
Lightning Rod - The Offspring

Song 7: The song that plays when (you think) you've made it through it all.
I Won't See You Tonight Part 1 - Avenged Sevenfold
(OHHHH FORESHADOWING...)

Song 8: The song that plays when you discover you've been bitten.
Move Along - All-American Rejects

Is it just me, or does this show JUST how much depressing music I have on iTunes? XD

On a side note, while laughing at #5, I accidentally swallowed my cough drop whole. Near death experience, checked off of bucket list.

Current addictions:
:bulletred: Tiger & Bunny
:bulletorange: Purple

:bulletgreen: Digital art

Persacon!

5 min read
So Persacon~

Me and Kalaziel had an AWESOME time.

So in the beginning, it was boring but after about 9:45, it got really awesome. Patrick Seitz was supposed to he there but didn't show up and its actually thanks to these two guy (sort of random) guys that we had a good time.

Surprisingly, there was a lot of cosplay, but it was even more thrown together than mine. Not EVERYONE'S, but...a lot of people's. And a lot of people wore the same thing twice, which made me feel better also XD At one point when we were in the lobby, this guy cosplaying Kakashi comes up to us with another guy and video tapes us doing the caramelldansen and takes a picture of us. At first, we were like "Okay..." but they were actually the two awesome ones I mentioned up there...

I cosplay as Kankuro the first day. That makeup is a bitch to get off >.> It's like, well damn, thanks eyeliner, didn't need that layer of skin -.- We didn't really do anything on Friday because there wasn't much to do. We went to the rave that started at 9, and I made the mistake of wearing a corset. AGH. I dint wear it the whole time because it was just SO. HOT! Sad though cause it looked good XD And what I hunk made the rave so fun was because I thought I wasn't going to like it, because I just don't really dance, though after about 15 minutes of awkward Wtf-is-this, I started dancing and it was FUN. We stayed down there for a good two hours or so, and Kakashi was there break dancing lol It was really awesome.

We didn't get to sleep till at least 1 that night...

Saturday, I cosplayed Soul. It was so hot in that hotel though, I didn't wear it all day. Like seriously, it was BAD. It was a shame too side my Soul hair is actually awesome. Saturday though was a lot of fun. They did a panel where one of the awesome guys were dressed up as Luigi and there was a Mario, and the Kakashi was running it. They were making jokes the whole time, and the set up looked like the little pipes in the game. There.were "talking fire plants" that sprayed you with enter when you got it wrong. It was hilarious.

There was also a third awesome guy dressed as Death. He was so cool, and I hugged him like four times. I surprisingly even got him to take off his death mask for a second--surprisingly cause I didn't think he would lol. It was funny, cause at one point I'm talking to Kalaziel and she goes, "...Death is behind you." But he was cool. I dunno if the Death I'm talking ably (cause there were a few) has a dA/is reading this, but if you are, you rock Death!

After 5 when the mentioned Mario panel had stopped, we wandered around until midnight cause that was when the next panel started. Me and Kalaziel had bought shirts that said Moogle in the Google font and walked around with shirts saying "sign my shirt, get a free hug!"

Never have I hugged so many people in my life! My shirt is full of signatures like, so much that people didn't know where to sign XD

So after that we started wandering around again, through it was funny because we ended up talking to Kakashi and Luigi for like 70% of the time. In the end, no one else was gonna play the game that was the panel, so Luigi just gave us the prizes XD They were paper lanterns painted like Boo's lol They're so cute.

We actually managed to get to sleep afterwards lol

Sunday was all sad so it was the last day, and we really didn't do anything panel-wise. The way the hotel was layer out, we were making loops around it just because we had nothing better to do. I bought some stuff from the Dealer room, which was essentially a hell of a lot of keychains, Kankuro gloves, a "super lucky Japanese" grab bag, a really awesome dagger (that I'll put a picture of later) and some plushie hair pins that I actually got from Artist alley.

Kalaziel's brother was in the game too like, the whole time. That's barely an exaggeration XD Me, Kalaziel and her mom were in the hall outside of it talking and then we started talking to Kakashi, and he pulled a total mind fuck on me XD My phone is in my pocket, and in the middle of the conversation he goes, "Hold on, I got a phone call" and pulls my phone out of his pocket XD It was so freaky!

After that was closing ceremonies, which were a little depressing cause this was the last Persacon, like...ever.

But yeah. That was the con. It was AWESOMENESS.

BTW, fuck typos. I wrote this all on my phone.
